There are a lot of times currently when the word 'Epic' is used to describe something that is less than so, but this past weekend at Psycho Las Vegas more than lived up to the title. It was truly an epic weekend, and we were very happy to not only attend, but also to take the stage on the final night. From flying out of DC with Bobby Liebling on board, to watching Mudhoney from the pool, to bitching about how expensive the beer was with Jimmy Bower in the elevator, to seeing Ashbury, Truth and Janey, Zombi, Dead Meadow, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Pentagram, High on Fire, Sleep, Candlemass, Fu Manchu, YOB, Down, Lo-Pan, Blue Oyster Cult, Electric Wizard, Goya, and so many other great bands, to hanging with Baroness and crew and watching them play, to then get to jump up on the Vinyl stage and play for a solid crowd that was fully into it - this weekend was truly EPIC. The bands that we were able to watch truly was an honor, but the best part of it was, and always is, the new friends we made and old friends we were able to see again. It really means a lot to have people come up and tell you that they came to this event to see you play, or flew here from Virginia, Chicago, New York, Canada, and in a couple of cases Europe to see Valkyrie, and that really means a lot. Glad we could be there, this weekend is going to be remembered by all that were there for a long time! ... See MoreSee Less

Thanks to everyone that came out and saw us on our two-week tour. We had a great time, and it was good to talk to so many new people and to again see friends we've made before. Special thanks to Clutch for having us join them for two more shows, and to Jimmy Hubbard and Jeremy Hush for the hospitality. See you in Las Vegas in August! ... See MoreSee Less
Thanks to everyone that came out last night to Kung Fu Necktie! It was a great show, and it was especially nice to see so many familiar faces of our Philly friends out and to get to hang out for a little bit after.
Right now we are on our way to Virginia Beach to play the Logstradamus After Party for the last show of this tour. It has been a fun run, and we're looking forward to the show tonight! ... See MoreSee Less
